Homemade cheese manaeesh

Middle Eastern Breakfast vibes 🌞 We absolutely loveee cheese manaeesh. I made this the other day, and i am still thinking about it. So happy we were able to find Akawi cheese. Hope everyone has a wonderful week!









Ingredients:

- 500g strong bread flour

- 2 tsp fast action yeast

- 1 tbsp olive oil

- pinch of salt

- 300ml warm water

- grated Akawi cheese

- grated mozzarella

(70:30 ratio of akawi / mozzarella respectively)





Method:

1. Pre heat the oven to 230C fan or at the highest heat.


2. For the pitta dough, mix the flour, yeast, olive oil, a pinch of salt and warm water. Knead for 10 minutes either by hand or use a food mixer using the dough hook.


3. Roll out the dough and top it with grated mozzarella and Akawi. Bake for 4 mins. ENJOY!! XXX
